It may sound a bit pedantic but it will be filled with insights for you and your songwriters.

Striving to meet the needs of our congregations can sometimes come at the expense of our own personal health. The temptation to step outside of our “window-of-tolerance,” or the place where we can best manage our emotions and experiences, becomes all too easy when we are faced with major ministry challenges. Together, we will explore how God created our bodies to manage stress. God never intended for us to operate in constant anxiety, but rather, He promised us peace. Join me, as we study how the truth of His Word encourages us to minister from that place of peace.
-

Did you know that almost every instance of worship in scripture is accompanied by some sort of demonstrative action? Each Sunday, our teams have the opportunity to corporately express and lead worship offered to the God of the universe. Yet the way in which we communicate it doesn’t always reflect the transformation that’s taking place in our hearts. Those who lead from the platform must consider whether the way in which they respond and lead in worship is adding to or taking away from it in ways that draw attention to themselves rather than pointing people to Jesus. Whether you’re an introvert or an extrovert, you can biblically express and lead people in worship without drawing attention to yourself. Body language, vocal tone, pace, and microphone technique all play a part in effective communication when speaking, reading scripture, praying, and singing. This breakout will give you and your team members practical insight on how to biblically and effectively express and lead authentic and engaging worship.
-
In worship and technology environments, leadership is not about position—it is about participation. Real leaders step into the trenches with their teams, carry weight when pressure rises, and create solutions when the room is full and there seems to be no way forward. In this breakout, you will learn how to build the right team culture, navigate conflict with clarity and conviction, set establishable goals that align vision with execution, and overcome obstacles with creative persistence. Using the biblical model of the friends who tore through the roof to get their companion to Jesus, this session will challenge you to lead with courage, collaboration, and breakthrough thinking—because true leadership does not wait for doors to open; it builds a way through.
-
Serving as a worship leader while working another job is a blessing, but it poses some unique challenges. We’ll highlight how churches worldwide are embracing these solutions to enhance ministry and reach more people. Join us to discover how open-source tools can empower your church—completely free.
